yesterday I finished my portfolio, so I went on a printing spree. as one would do. this is the result of that (and not all the things I printed are up there, just so you know).

So today I sat through a marathon of TWO MOVIES D:
I say marathon because a) I watched them in a cinema (come on, the last time I watched two movies in a cinema in one day was in 10th grade with antibunny back when we were lovers) and b) they were both over two hours long

They wereeeee Prince Caspian (a.k.a. Narnia The Sequel, sorry but I don't know the actual title >_>) and Sex and the City. Today was the opening day for both movies :D

First up: Narnia!
you could feel the sexual tension between Peter and Caspian... as if it were right there... right in front of you... like a... something that actually exists in material form. There were SO many moments where I said, "and now... MAKE OUT!" out loud :x
but fo realz. Caspian and Peter are gay for each other. Caspian just needs to get out of denial.


AND EDMUND! hoolllyyy crap. while two of my friends were gushing over Peter/Caspian, I sat next to another friend with whom I gushed over Edmund. gypsy_sunday, you were right. He (I forgot his name, it's an odd name >_>) has grown up very well!

Sex and The City was.... well, it was over two hours long. Did I enjoy it? Yes. But only because... well... it's Sex and the City. I've only watched about 3 episodes from the first season (way back when I went to China with 3 of my friends, who bought the first 3 seasons on DVD XD). So. I'm not a fan. But I could watch it. I was mostly watching the clothes, and let's just say I was disappointed. Who wears a bird on their head with a Vivienne Westwood dress. At their own wedding. Who.

oh and I am so broke now XD I have $3 in my bank account woohoo! Silly paypal takes about a week to transfer money to my bank account. Silly bank account.

I just cried my eyes out and got scolded for it because I am just a little peanut in comparison with my dad's vast ocean of MISERY or so says my dearest mother

I feel like I haven't posted in a while so here we go :)
last night was spent at the house that always hosts a party on new year's eve. it was the same as always, though smaller because the host family had to move out of their old house and into a unit at Four Seasons, because their housing contract expired. Four Seasons is amazing o__o it's pretty much one of the places where all the bigshots live. And they redid the entire place. Every room is so awesome, even the bathrooms (they look like hotel bathrooms). There's even one bedroom that's all ~Japanese~y, with those Japanese doors (the sliding doors? I don't know what they're called?) and a really low bed that I nearly walked into.

in other news, I don't think there is any news. One of my piercings hurts because I stretched it and I think I slept on it for most of last night :(

and my birthday is a month from today! I'm strangely excited, even though 19 isn't much of an age to be. Except for being my last year as a teenager (which I can't believe o_o)

It recently came back to me that I grew up watching him on TV back in England. I don't think anyone who reads this LJ has ever lived in England (though I may be wrong...)
So I'm just wondering o___o because he's what I watched, instead of Sesame Street and stuff (I did watch Sesame Street, but not as much as I watched Mr. Blobby.)


the thing is, Mr Blobby is really scary XD he's the reason I never really liked polka dots (he's pink with yellow polka dots, oh and did I mention he's a blob?)

So, direct shipping costs $48 which is ridiculous because the shoes cost $47 on their own. If I use VPost (the site is down so I won't link to that...) it is about $15 cheaper. which is also ridiculous.
I really should have ordered the shoes during the semester; that way I could have had them sent to a friend returning from the states -.-;; but alas, I am stupid and didn't realise I wanted the shoes until people started coming back.
So what I'm trying to get at is - does anyone know of any cheaper options to get shoes (or anything >>) in from the US?
Anyway I could still wait until the summer and do the friend-coming-back option. That works. I'm not impatient or anything; I just don't want to sit around and wait until the end of summer and go through this whole "I should have gotten it shipped to a friend!" thing again :|
